Description
In Greek mythology, the Moirai or Moerae, often in English usually known as the Fates, were the incarnations of destiny; their Roman equivalent was the Parcae.
The gods and men had to submit to them, although Zeus's relationship with them is a matter of debate: some sources say he is the only one who can command them (the Zeus Moiragetes), yet others suggest he was also bound to the Moirai's dictates.
But that's not the end of the story. There is a difference between fate and destiny. Destiny is related to men, fate is in relationship with the entire universe: men, things, world, gods and more.
In some cultures, others than Greek, thera are similar entities, as the Moirai, representing the whole fate of the world (universe), rather than destiny of singles.
And today? the debate speaking of the differences between fate and destiny is still actual. From philosophy to cosmology, from psychology to religions, none final disclosure has been reached. But the question concerns us everybody. Perhaps it is time to devote on the subject a serious search... if it isn't too late!
Because who can know that fate is already established? Who hold the final destiny of the universe, of the world... and all of us?

Fabulous work on this!
So nice to see you! Thats a lovely image my friend
I see you every now and then, observed your ten years of posting on August 17th, and wish I were more knowledgeable of the processes involved in creating this art. There are times when acceptance precedes understanding, so with that note I look backward at your previous creations and enjoy the thought and concept of this lovely composition.
Awesome scene!
Some believe we are just a simulation of an incredibly complex super computer that generates our existence as a huge electronic game. Others believe that there is only on individual in the entire universe, but that individual has to play the parts of everyone that as ever existed and ever will exist. Mind boggling theories. I love your art for this year. May the gods of the universe bless all your efforts in this life as well as all the other ones you might occupy!
August 17th again already. The Fates the thread of the Universe to weave the destiny of the world. Think I would prefer the Sisters choice of Fate over what this Human Virus that infests this Planet has in store for it. Thought provoking as always....
hello again! this scene is marvelous. fate or destiny weaving and spinning the whole world forward. very thought provoking and a deep idea to ponder. your work is always a joy to see and think about!

Beautiful words and so true. Beautiful image also! Hugs
One can be optimistic and still have no hope not knowing when or how things will end no matter how they are progressing.
interesting

Cool image! Very creative.
I wonder if Fates have studied quantum physics, many other universes, or is it all just an advanced simulation...
