..great fantasy portrait

If you are trying for a feline look work on her Nose and Ears The whiskers are a Nice Touch but they are a bit hard to see and are too spread apart

The whiskers are actually a transplant from the AM Squirrel. So, scaling them to fit the face spreads them further than I would like. I plan to make some actual fiber hair whiskers for her in the future. I like the way these look except for that stray one at the top of the cheeks. As to the opacity, that's about as much as I want. I have in mind for them to be like a dog's whiskers...you don't really "see" them until you look. But, it would be noticeable if they weren't there. What I'm trying to avoid is reaching a cartoony cat look. It's a fine line. Probably, what these need are the follicle pores added at the base of each whisker to better define them as part of the face. Thanks for your comment. I do appreciate any ideas. :)

I am really not trying for a feline look...meaning for her to resemble a cat. There are enough "catgirls" already. :) I really want more of an animal like, human race...something different enough to show that she isn't homo sapiens, but still an offshoot...maybe even an intelligent race that has evolve from another woodland creature. I chose the cat eye look, mainly because I wanted that nocturnal animal style eye. I'm considering doing another version with the giant, bush baby type eyes.

Very good! Fantastic! Excellent!

Great portrait!
