It means a lot to me!
Cornelius introduces Ragnor to another member of the Council of Elders.
Maximilian Schreck. This guy was somehow familiar to Ragnor. Well, the guy was an old vampire, as he says in the book.
Well, there were two other guys who were no less strange.
