Description
This began life as part of a P-51 Mustang at the Flying Heritage Museum.
I've been messing about with Topaz, and honestly, I don't know how I got this result. However, when I saw it show up, I saved it right away! :)

We've had friends up from Texas for three weeks, and it's been loads of fun! The last of them pulled out this morning, and we'll see them all again when we get to Texas in November. We had a wonderful time!

Great result however you got it! Topaz has so many options then sliders to play with, mixing up the genes of the image. that's why it's fun!
I like this. I haven't tried Topaz but the more I see from it the more I am tempted.

Outstanding abstract with electric effects. I tried Topaz a few years ago & had some issues with it, so I ended up uninstalling it & use ON1 Effects instead. But I like the results that you & others have posted lately. Messing around is good - it's fun to be surprised & you sometimes come up with results that planning couldn't have produced...
Actually, these colorful streaks of light suit the P-51 very well! Love this, Tara! This is wonderful!
Superb effect. An electric image for sure. Did your friends mount up with the cry "Our work her is done, citizen" and ride off into the sunset? That's the way I've always thought of Texans.
LOL! Nope. One couple is originally from New Jersey. The other couple spent all their adult years in Maine, although she was born in Connecticut and he was born in Massachusetts.
I use Topaz and I have no idea how you came up with this either, but I like it!

I personally never got into Topaz, but you and Andrea have been doing some beautiful things with it. This is a collection of exploding energies, electrical currents, etc. The fact that it's part of a plane makes sense, since this is what planes do---they create immense currents in the sky. And the profuse darkness lets the energy lines stand out. A beautiful abstract, with whispering lines as well, esp on top and bottom.
