Hi everyone.
A friend to many here---Brigitte (blondeblurr)---is having a difficult time because her son---Jeff (jif3d)---is in the hospital awaiting surgery. She is going through the long and difficult process of caring for a sick loved one.
I wasn't sure if I should upload, as sometimes people don't want the attention...but Tara (auntietk) just made a beautiful upload for them, and I wanted to add my own wishes and blessings to what Tara already posted.
Please join in and send your blessings and prayers to Brigitte and Jeff, either publicly or in your hearts, so Jeff will come out of this fully healed; and Brigitte will once again have rest and joy.
This little image is my park in the glories of autumn. (I posted a similar shot earlier, but with less light.)
I wanted to send the colors and lushness to Brigitte and Jeff, and hope that its spirit will be with them both soon...

The old saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words", doesn't really apply here. Your marvelously postworked photo reaches out and snatches me by the collar, but then gently draws me in and whispers in my ear, "Read Mark's words too". Beautifully done in your always thoughtful way. Your dedi is perfect. [My initial response has been via email] The white sky works very well offsetting the brilliantly colored trees. Bet those leaves didn't last long in Chicago's fall winds.
