Description
This pairs together with an external photo of his Monument that I posted back on the 23rd of April.
Taking a photo inside the Jefferson Memorial was a real challenge because of the brilliant light streaming in through the columns behind him and beside him.
I liked this angle because you can see his famous quotation containing the words, "All men are created equal". This comes from the second paragraph of the United States Declaration of Independence.
Zoom worthy for details of the statue.

hello mr president...nice work
I really like this POV! Really wish that today's politicians view these memorials and read the words.....
Nice work Bill, I can appreciate that challenge here, with the bright light pouring in from outside
A great capture in those challenging circumstances, Bill! I have to wonder what he'd think about the current state of things...
Absolutely a well taken and expressive picture !!
Well done with light mate.
Beautifully and cleverly done!
I too wonder what he would feel about the infant prince.
I love the smile on his kindly face, maybe wouldn't be there if he knew how things are today.
A P.O.V. I never see. Very creative shot taken under difficult circumstances.
Yeah, that was before the women were counting. ;-) Great shot :)
A cracking shot against all the odds Bill.
I see two video cameras above and probably more. stunning statue and photo
