Finally with the second lab permanently shutdown, it was time to get some rest. This time Miho decided to recharge at her ancestral place. It was old building in an old village that was steeped in tradition. We landed a fair distant away off the beaten track. With active cloaking enabled we did not want people walking straight into the hyper plane thinking there was nothing in front of them. Not only that would make them wonder and talk but also could cause injury to them. It had been a tiring day and we had an early dinner. Then the wolf called it a night and went off to sleep. Miho and I chatted about the evil corporation for some time and we were even more determined to put and end to that corporation. Finally we both dozed off. Next day early in the morning Miho was up and out in the courtyard with her katakanas. It was inky blue and the sun was just coming out over the horizon. She loved practicing with those katakanas even though she had already mastered them. She always liked to say practice makes perfect. They were so sharp that they could split a hair vertically in two. I was still asleep but when I turned over and tried to put my arms around Miho, I found her missing and woke up. I got up and opened the door and there she was with that gorgeous smile looking so radiant practicing with her katakanas. I simply did not know how she did it... how was she able to recharge herself so fast. She had put scented candles all over the inner courtyard and it smelled wonderful. I just sat down near the door and just watched her. She looked at me and smiled and then continued her practice. She was a poetry in motion and I was once again mesmerized by her.......

I started on this scene more than a month back and had put it on the back burner to do the other renders. It was supposed to be an update of one of my earlier render. I was not happy with the results I was getting then with Miho's skin material under the mesh lights. But having kind of solved it with my last render, I though of finishing the scene. This scene is lit by one main Mesh light. There are other mesh lights around the courtyard and inside the rooms plus the candles but Miho is lit by that single mesh light. I really like how she looks here. I put an invisible reflector behind her to reflect back the mesh light and hence you see the highlight running across the inner edge of her thighs. I used the red and golden color add some color harmony. I also added 1 + 49 instances of the candle in the scene and then manually positioned all of them. Some are outside the view because of the POV. But it took time to place them all. For the inky blue sky I used a sky texture that I had darkened in Photoshop. Overall I think the render came out very nice. I love how Miho looks and how the dress looks and the overall scene looks. PS: I have updated the thumbnail for this render.

When I read X-TC comment on my last render asking when will Miho's movie be released, I couldn't help but smile =). If only I had couple of 100Gs to burn to build a render farm to do that ;) ! But I will say this and Rod has mentioned it on my renders many times (much appreciated =) ), with each render I do try to improve on what I did on my previous render. That forces me to constantly learn new things and to try them out. It is a tiring process but the results do bring much satisfaction =) ! Once again, I would like to thank all of you for all the encouragement you all have given me over time to continue on with my Miho's adventures =).
