Description
This memorial is along the Corn Field road. It's the first time I've seen one like it at any site like this.
Rain started to come down so I did not get a good shot of the plaque. However, we do have a good shot of a related explanatory sign board...
I believe the American Red Cross itself was founded after the war, but there is a logical connection here. Stay tuned.
