The gentle, rolling dunes & soft shadows make a very appealing combination. There are beaches on both the east & west coast of the U.S. that have a very similar look, as well as some in western Europe. Happy Birthday Andrea!
This is a delight! Thankyou so much, Tara. We have some beaches like this at Studland Bay which are in sight of our much less attractive one. Have a google ! They are just outside Poole Harbour to the South.
The sun setting slowly in the west stretching the late afternoon shadows makes this a beautiful photo. The unmanicured beach gives it an unusual and a bit of a wild look that I like. But those dunes...ahhhhh, scrumptious.
