We used to count the hawks we saw when we drove from OKC to Wichita in our unceasing efforts to spoil the Grand children....
HawkMax was in excess of100!! HawkMin was single digits.
so my first thought when I saw this delightful image was "ONE!"
Never look up when a bird flies over. Have a few shots like this myself.
nice capture . better to watch where they are to avoid getting a nasty deposit on one's head
Excellent capture!!!!!!!!!
Nice catch even at this distance. I disagree with the others. You should always scan the skies. I remember my supervisor at my college library had just had her hair done and was quite proud of the new do. The morning after she showed it off she came to work with the most disgusted look on her face. Someone asked her what was wrong and she lowered her head. A bird had sent her a gift and it had landed right in the middle of that new hairdo.
Nice to see an Osprey, rare here.
Looks great Mike!!
Very nice capture, Mike!
good capture!
Brilliant Mike, You have good eyesight Bravo!
Good work! Way to knock on the sky!
Lovely shot Mike!!
Cool shot... this is a great capture, and it's a scene that not many pay attention too... people now days don't look up much.
WOW, great capture!!
I at first thought this was a new drone to Rod's collection until I read the text. I don't think I've ever seen an osprey. But I have several military history books by Osprey publishing house. If you have more, please post. Keep up the good work! :-)
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
LOL @ T. Rex.... Nope... Not one of mine!
Actually, I do scan the skies, especially when I'm flying one of my 'copters... Raptors sometimes take an interest in them. I've never had one attack, but I've had them circle the drone to check it out...
Wonderful shot, Mike!
It is excellent!
