Description
I wish we could find a common goal to bring peace.
Post-processing in Filter Forge and compositing in GIMP. Inspired by propaganda posters from an earlier era. The spacesuit (about the closest to the 1960s styles as I could find) is by Midnight Stories and is called "Zero Gravity."
Enjoy!

Splendid poster creation !
Cool and classy work! love it.
Peace sells, but no one's buying...
In a perfectly peaceful world, there would be no greed, no prejudice, no ignorance, no selfishness. I fear this will never happen. Overall, mankind is a bunch of greedy powermongers. We are like a virus. forever duplicating, forever pillaging and exploiting the world we live in, without remorse... until there's nothing left. And in the process, we even can not stop to destroy our own kind (for false labels like skin colour, religion and beliefs).
This is a dark place... because we're turning it into one.
My misanthropy aside: fantastic illustration! You really breathe this 50s to 60s art style like no one else, Dan!
This is so beautiful. Lovely work!
Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts and comments. Much appreciated!

Just a stunning image! Message heartfelt and it would be fantastic if in this world, all types of violence could be eradicated. It is sad that so many unhappy people hurt others and that their are others who only care about what the world can do for them.
