I'm very lucky that I don't feel the need to look half my age and therefore have a daily struggle with self image.
My Grandmother used to say that we will all look rather like a toad or a lizard as we age, and from the look of my neck I am well on the way to the latter !

That title gave me a belly laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very well taken portrait !!
fabulous portrait!
Lovely portrait & chuckle!!
you look very sympha; great shot...and.. you're not the only one on her way to look like a lizzard or toad: I do too lol
I spent my whole younger life believing I was unattractive. Looking at pictures, I can now see I was cute as a bug! So I've learned to feel attractive for myself, and the hell with everybody else. I love your portrait because it's YOU, and it conveys your personality to me. A wonderful image! :)
You're quite the lady, beautiful and striking! Great portrait
I've heard of and seen Batman, but Batwoman? COOL! So, who has a wrinkled neck? Bats do, since they hang upside down. Thanks for the self portrait. Always nice to see the people behind the avatars and images. Keep up the good work! :-)
at first a Hello to you and you can be proud because you have your own style, you look powerful and not boring, and you are slim (congrats) 😘 I admire your courage 🤗
Oh Andrea you look so beautiful and chipper !
Love both pics. and your Title has me going to bed with a big smile on my face.
I look terrible with a any kind of hat on my head-- I truly envy those of you that look so nice-- I have always told my sis she could wear a pile of bird dodo on her head and still look good. Smiles.
Thanks for sharing.

Character, character, character...I'd know you anywhere. Every now and then, Tara will say to me or I'll say to her...look over there, doesn't that woman remind you of Andrea. Great shot.
What a super cool image, Andrea!!!! And I agree with Tara's words. It's just "great-YOU", and there is nothing wrong with it, in the contrary.
whenever anyone writes a description like this, people will say you don't look anything like a 'toad' and you look great, etc; but the thing is, it's real, because you have great character and depth in your face, and a beauty that is as real as real and deep as it gets, which I'm not saying to be 'nice', because I've always felt it. (Though, believe me, the idiot-comic in me would like, just once, to respond to uploads like this with, "oh yeah, you look awful...I may puke..." But as you can see, that's tasteless, just tasteless.) When this went up, I wanted to say what Helle once said: You have great dignity, beauty and strength in your face. And those lines are signs of having lived to the fullest, inwardly and outwardly. I love your self portraits, they're honest to the core: You show yourself honestly. (Mine are all posed smiles, you do away with all that.) Terrific portrait, Andrea. I agree with the above.
