Very interesting shot !!!
This photo is wonderful and the article is fantastic and beautiful - very powerful
too bad the ceiling is too low for the full tail to be displayed. nice shot
What a beautiful old plane and you captured it excellently. Glad to see, that Lancaster finally maneged to see his plane again. Thanks for the link.
Excellent model, or the real thing? Hard to tell in this light and camera angle. But a great photo! I read Leo McKinstry's book many years ago. Very impressive! The quote from a B-17 crewman said a lot - "It's a damned flying bomb bay!" For those interested, here's the web address to the book at Amazon.com -

Very much the real thing mate! Thanks for the link. Andrew.
An excellent photo of one of the classic "war winner" airplanes. I've seen a Lanc in Canada and it is indeed an impressive bird. I also read the article about Mr. Bence visiting. God bless all our veterans!
WE have a flying example here in the UK, it regularly flies about the skies of Bedfordshire, heard it once, but not captured it yet, I will sometime though. Great shot bloke!
This is great!
