Description
I forgot to mention on the original upload that this was a crystalline skull and the sword went in through the top back of the skull. Here is a side view of the same scene. the curves and bends in the sword are due to the refraction of light through the skull

Superb and impressive image with these textures, excellent!
Beautiful work Mike
Nice job. The wavey shape of the blade gives an idea of the skull's shape. Again, a great job with this. To those who don't grasp the skull's shape this can be a real challenge to figure out. I love this! Keep up the good work! :-)
Since your original post I wonder who the warrior (samurai?) was, that battled this beast. All three pictures let the fantasy run wild. Cool stuff, Mike!

Wonderful image :)
That looks so cool! It's like submerging it in water. My God. How amazing are these programs to calculate the visual mutation of the blade. So incredible.
Owe! Would not like one out of my skull.
I think the skull is a goner for sure with the cold steel in his head. very good work
Nicely done!!

Gives clear meaning to 'a splitting headache!' Nice POV on this one. Splendid render!

Wonderfulness!!! I'm, personally, thrilled to death with a purple sword!!!

I don't think this is the Mitchell-Hedges skull........ But it's very cool nonetheless! Super work on this, Mike! You're moving right along with the new DAZ, bro! Lookin' good!
This looks really cool Mike. While I don't subscribe to any of the new-age nonsense, crystal skulls do look cool.
Oh yeah, that's going to leave a mark. Very cool effects.
COOOL
Interesting view Mike.
Looks like the sword made a lot of damage.
Great lighting and presentation.
