Something a little strange today. It's so hard to come up with ideas on work when I post 3 times a week, ideas are not easily there.
I'm on a standby for jury duty today, hope I don't need to show up later today.

I'm skipping ahead only because I want to get a recent piece too. (I did quite a few here, but I still skipped the last several---hope to be back for the others before I leave.) I love your miniatures. This captures the song and the style inside a birdcage. I love the idea, and I love how you did it. Her blueish blouse stands out against all that bronze, and I love her longing expression, and that acoustic guitar. She's definitely hit with being in jail, but she's able to see the whole world through it, a world she'll hopefully be in soon. Love the speakers too---a piece from the present in the middle of this past. Love the insect and the flash drive, and the two old books, and quill and ink pot, etc. Great bunch of stuff, Steve, designed simply and beautifully; and your colors are, as always, beautifully done and contrasted. Terrific work as always, a great take on the song. Hope you aren't called to the jury! Or, if you are, hope it's a one day trial!
