Description
In contrast to yesterday's image, this is a close-in shot of the sand. The hollow (center left) is a footprint, and that little piece of wood (bottom right) is probably three inches long.

almost like a science fiction scene - great shot
An interesting perspective. Without the piece of wood this could easily have been taken for something much larger. The play of light and shadow is really very good.

in zoom this is vast and miniature at the same time. Yes, it could be a large overview; but in zoom, we see the pebbles, and they really do look like pebbles. Wonderful shot of the complexity of nature, at it's most intimate perspective. And the footstep and other indentations are rounded and sensual. And the light and dark waft across the surface like thought, and the objects in the lower right corner give solidity and reference-points to the whole. More beautiful flowing shadow and texture work from you.
