Description
Shimmer wakes the next morning to find she and Kith are at the oasis where Kith proposed. Neither remembers going there thanks to the effect the Shades had on them. Kith can't find the magic diamond vial he uses to change between human and dragon form. Talking to Nim telepathically, he learns he'd left it with his adopted daughter, Sapphire, for safe keeping.

Man, I would avoid The Shades like the plague if there was even the slightest chance I would be affected by them like this. They really got screwed up bad by the experience. And it started out to be so much fun, so festive. Just like real life. Then everything goes to hell. LOL.
Great comic bit with Pt'this being unable to find his room too, Phantom. Heh heh. I could just picture it.
And what a very, very engrossing scene. I'm certainly familiar with the concept and reality of the species interacting and my gut instinct tells me here I couldn't be comfortable in a relationship with a dragon even when the dragon is in human form.
But then I go back to considering a shape shifter. I could definitely get into being in a relationship with a shape shifter. And that's basically how a dragon takes human form. By shape shifting. And it's funny. I was just looking at pictures of Mystique, the shape shifter in X-Men. Her true color is blue and her skin features are almost dragon-like, more serpent-like actually. And so I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. LOL.

ZZ, I remember our conversations about this over at cgbytes. And I can empathize. But remember, she's part dragon too. She may not know it yet, but perhaps on a subconscious level, she understands.
I was just thinking of something. Have a dragon in youre house, how would that be? Well maybe the same as having youre mother in law visiting?
What if your mother in law was a dragon? Ok, yeah, most probably couldn't tell the difference. But these guys are pretty much like everyone else. They just eat a lot.
