You got some damn fine balls there, Mike! LOL. Beautiful, vibrant colors, my friend! Reminds me of The Super Balls out of a vending machine. They used to cost a quarter. Probably two bucks now. Ha.

Lovely designs, colors, lighting and reflections Mike.
while I have some other galleries yet to visit, I'm determined to catch up with all your work! You've been exploring all kinds of things, and it just fascinates me. I looked up "primitives" so I could understand some of the specifics here. It said they're basic geometric shapes from Bryce. Oooookay. But then I saw that Bryce comes from the same company that makes Daz. What's important to my limited understanding is that they're basic building blocks, and that somehow you construct them with care, balance, meticulousness, etc. I'm looking at these balls full view, and I can actually appreciate some of the nitty gritty of making these things, as opposed to getting them ready-made. In pro-level musical software, you can construct sounds from scratch, and it's tedious and concentrated, but amazing when you finish. Also, I have a friend who's been modeling spheres etc in Blender, for over a year in fact; and I hear about her steps all the time. So I think I can appreciate this better than most 2D artists. (Btw, Blender is next to water-boarding as far as I'm concerned. I used it 2 or 3 times, and lost my mind...)
The balls are luminous and pure, and they meet each other like cells from my old biology books, where cells were portrayed as spheres jammed into other spheres. I can appreciate the light and reflections. And the combination of patterned balls w/ pure blue and black balls. Full size, it's really quite pristine and beautiful, and brings home the joy of making basic structures in software. The simple 2-toned background sets them off all the more. I had to learn something, finally, in order to understand better what you're doing. These are beautiful.
