Both your original (in the comments section) and your postworked edition, are superb. They're both superb. The original has an avant garde New York look, almost something Warhol would play with. It would make a great album cover for a singer. I love your crop, the angle of the face, the deep shadow, and the city down in the background, as if this person is standing on a rooftop of a high-rise, or on a high balcony.
Your postwork gives a very urban feeling to the face---you've created rushing lines all across this person's cheeks, lips, etc. And the glasses are wonderfully big. I love how this face dominates the whole image---leaving the city looking "small' by comparison. An expert piece, based on an expert original. Terrific work, Ute.
