Great looking old church!
Very nice! A humble mission church for the people. I've been to the larger one at San Xavier and the ruined one at San Juan Tucamcori but the simplicity of this one in its setting is really special. Seeing one of these churches while the local people worshipping in them, you'd find that these are their churches and what they have there is real and meaningful to them. I suspect that the faith and comfort the people gain in these places will endure long after the secular strip mall commercial temples along the interstates are reclaimed by the dust. Great photo!

This church is located off the beaten path on the reservation. I doubt that many visitors know about it or care to go there.
How lovely! There's something about Spanish architecture and the desert mountains that just goes well together.
