Then do as I do, Use the free program "Artistry" lol. I really like this result much more than the original. Used two of the filters for this :)
Seee the original HERE Which was a test of my new water soluble Ink pencils. Not the best on Watercolor paper. SO this looks much better :D

Yep I like it this one 2 - I use sometimes PhotoDonut and FilterForge -It's possible to get amazing results, like yours here!

This is kinda neat. It's a cheerful looking watercolour that I can imagine being sold in a touristy gift shop or hanging in a hotel room. It brightens the mood without being overbearingly chipper. :)
I use Filter Forge for this type of thing most of the time and if I wanna go nuts with options I use GIMP.

Wowee, this has watercolor written all over it. I knew I had seen something like it before, but this is a wonderful application of your ink pencil colors in this second version. I really like it, Helle.

You have no lack of talent, my friend! If you applied this filter set to a bad picture, I bet you would still have a bad picture. Your original was delightful! If you had wanted a water color to begin with, you could have just used watercolors! LOL! Silly girl. :P You are brilliant, as I'm sure I've mentioned before. :D

There are so many fun apps out there for creating art! Maybe after I retire, I'll learn how to use a few of them! LOL Learning, experimenting, and exploring all the things one can do in this medium is 90% of the fun. Even if it does make your head explode trying to learn it all!

I'm with tara and andrea, and others, about your 'lack' of talent. (When I first saw this, no one had commented, so now I get to see what people said. Well, hey, you'd be shocked if someone said, "yep---you're talentless! Worst freakin' artist I've seen in years..." But no one's gonna say that, because it would be a total lie!) I got pulled in by both of the versions: The original has much more 'paper' in it, it's much more intense and textural. This one is smoothed, and you've added (or manipulated) 'pock' marks, little nodules throughout the piece. The colors are more present, because of the lack of paper-texture. So this feels more 'clear' and 'clean'. It's almost an abstract of forms piled on top of each other---something you get in a number of your big city paintings, btw: You resonate with the geometry and abstractness of big cities, in your art. That quality is present in the last version, but that has more texture; whereas this version brings out the planes themselves. A delight. And your poster-treatment of the frame makes it look like a book cover! (Do you have text? You could publish it!)
