A beautiful photo of this memorial to the brave men and women who fought and died to preserve our freedom. May they never be forgotten. My dad was also a WW2 veteran.
What a beautiful Photograph and dedi for our friend :)
Beautiful dedication.....I too thank those who served for all that they represent, for all that they have sacrificed.
Thanks for posting this. Especially now, when the basic freedoms our men and women fought and died for are coming into sharp relief, particularly in this city.
Thanks for posting. I have never seen this. I assume it's the Lincoln Memorial in the background, and the Washington Memorial behind the camera. Beautiful photo. Keep up the good work! :-)
Beautiful tribute!
The dedication you show to your fallen veterans feels good and always peaceful.
Thanks tons for this wonderful pic of the Washington WWII Memorial. It looks massive in scope, with the Lincoln Memorial far in the distance. Actually, I knew about the Korean conflict memorial, but not this one, so this is a real treat. I'm really getting up in years now, which makes me appreciate this dedication even more - odd that I still remember my Army serial number - and I know that the number of my fellow WWII vets gets smaller each passing day. Thanks again.
awesome shot :-)
beautiful memorial and capture
