Captured way back on 10/18/09, at the beautiful Orchid Show held at the beautiful Huntington Botanical Center and Conservatory in beautiful San Marino, California.

Striking, stunning presence; you got the hues and the light as if they were bursting into our space. I love the presence you caught here. And, as these are orchids, you bring out the exotic and altogether in-your-face power of these sensual creatures. The light behind them is striking too; and the interplay of horizontal lines against all those curvilinear flowers is equally stunning. A very complex, rich shot; and you got the essence of orchid-dom in the fullest. Beautiful eye-popping work.
