Captured way back on 12/4/05, at the beautiful Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden in beautiful Arcadia, California.

Another close-cropped shot of a natural creature---this time a beautiful bird, contrasted by that stark concrete and painted concrete wall. The dappled sunlight harmonizes with the beautiful circles on the bird's tail (I assume a peacock). And you composed the shot so its head takes us right to the top of the stairs. Your close-cropped shots have been wonderfully focussed and vivid. And, given the size of this creature, I'd think he'd have little trouble getting up those stairs...
