Description

A Genesis 3 character rendered via Carrara with Octane Render, but don't get too excited, Carrara can't yet support G3 natively but you can import a static figure, set up shaders etc. Still wishing for native support though. Thanks for looking - I haven't posted much lately as I have been busy with some commercial projects - paying clients have to come first! Phil

Just curious how long does it take to render something like this in Carrara 3D with something like a dual or quad core i7 and a mediocre graphics card? It does look like you used some kind of global lighting plug-in which I can only achieve in Poser if I use about 40 - 50 lights of all kinds. With this many lights I'm running out of RAM space quickly and it limits the DPI and render size considerably. How many lights did you use in this setup?

Yes, time Carrara was updated. I was very happy when Poser introduced Superfly, transferring models to Maxwell Studio was giving me RSI. Very nice work with the lighting.
