Extraordinary patterns, my friend! You know what flashed in my head too? Those Ancient Alien guys on History Channel occasionally show a golden aerodynamic casting found in an ancient South American tomb. The side wings make me think of that. Very cool work, Tom!!!!

Another bug that jumps off the page, with more mythic forms and ceremonial patterns. Again, some of the patterns here look like stained glass. And the light is luminous. And the wings are luminous too. With a honey-and-sunlight feeling to it all. Your stark black backgrounds really make these standout; and at the same time they feel like museum pieces on display. I hope everyone zooms---these really pop off the page, full size. More beautiful work in this beautiful series. (And I've tried to find the pattern in your numbering, lol, but I didn't find one. This is XLII, but the one before was IV. Ah well. They had a fight, and XLII decided to take over.) Sterling work once more!
