Description
Mittenwald is located near the Austrian border between Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Innsbruck. The mountains in the background is the Karwendel Gebirge most of which is in Tyrol, Austria. Mittenwald's elevation is about 3,000-ft and the mountains in the background are a little over 9,000-ft. Mittenwald is known for its violin makers.
