Wow! Beautiful.
Wonderful!!!
amazing work!
Love the details.
She seems to be a character from the Commedia dell'Arte, with harlequin's mask and that fool's head-dress. You gave her a thick red dress---it's almost made of clay---and those checkerboard stockings, skirt and slippers: Very effective. She's a classic 'clown' figure---yet, her face is very serious, as if she's not always happy with her role. Perhaps she's just a very serious performer...A beautiful deep red/black background too. A portrait of an ancient comic figure, in a moment of repose. I like the object she's sitting on: It seems like a small stage---or a confession booth. Beautifully done.
