Description
One of several old film shots I scanned of a trip I took to New Mexico easily some 30 plus years ago. This was at the world famous Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, which is held each October. I was on my way to visit my brother in Santa Fe at the time and it just so happened to coincide with the festival. It appears some of the craft were floating above a residential area in this one.

of all your balloon shots, this one has the most sinister air---I love the dark tones, tinged with all that rust-red-brown. And that big patch of clouds, like sheep fleece: so light, while the sky is so dark. And the landscape is like a town after nuclear winter hit it...Whatever you did to this, it's really eerie and strange and beautiful. The balloons look like emissaries from another planet...
I still want to go up in a hot air balloon. Well done for "saving"these old images Harry.
