Just a bit of messin' around with emissives in DS... Her orb is simply a sphere prop with the IRAY Uber shader thingy, and a bit of dorking around with the emissive parameters. I've got a lot to learn, but what a fun trip!
This is Jingfei, Jenny's (Pixeluna) latest hottie. She's a real beauty, Lil' Sis.... Love her tats, and her skin is so lifelike - it just glows! She's available over at DAZ. The BG is also by Pixeluna.
I did quite a bit of playing in Photoshop - 15 layers, then the final result run through NIK filters (a great set of FREE filters - just Google 'Nik Filters)

I like that glowing orb thingy. Yeah, Emissives are cool to work with but they do require a bit of fiddling and test rendering. Just keep that in mind when building your scene so you don't wind up an hour into a render then decide it sucks rocks.
Nik filters are pretty cool, they do make short work of a lot of processes. I don't always use them, but I have a few go to ones. I think half the fun is the postwork fiddling.

Yup. Absolutely a beautiful light from the orb. Very well done and gorgeous work with this character as well! She kind of reminds me of Sigourney Weaver around the eyes. But one of the Aliens movies was on late last night and she probably got stuck in my head too. Excellent set here too, Rod. Everything looks great and I especially love the fishnets.

Hmmm...and here I was thinking she could be an adversary to T.N.A. Regardless, Jingfei is still hot stuff, and those lace stockings make her an inferno.
Really would like to try my hand with emissives, but time and a low end laptop are getting in the way.

Boy do I wish I understood 3D language! I feel like a guy who just got off the boat...so, not knowing what "emissives" are, I'll just say that she's expertly posed (one expects that from you, btw, and one is never disappointed), you have the curtain in line with her posture, the light moves liquidly across her, the orb gives off beautiful light, and I love her tattoos too. (I know, in painting, that getting the orb's light effect is delicate; I assume it is in 3D, as well.) And you have a good division of the wall behind her, and some Renaissance couple about to go for it (in the frame)---they're like 2 Michelangelo figures who took a break from his frescos, and decided to get it on in the back room. (I was gonna say 'shtup,' but I'll refrain for the sake of propriety.) The painting gives a love-theme to Jingfei. More expert work from you, Sir R.
