Description
Our dear Helle (helanker) has been struggling with a badly clouded eye...and since she only has one good eye, her sight is badly effected. It got so bad that she couldn't see much at all; and it's been very tiring and discouraging, as you can imagine.
Those of you who know her know she's one of the most caring, loving people here; and you know her art is pure magic---she explores everything under the sun, with such glee. I took some ducks and blended them with some of her favorite colors; and, with them, I send my love-filled wishes that her eye starts to heal (or that doctors can help it heal): May you start healing soon, dear Helle, you're truly missed and I hope you start seeing beautifully again. This should certainly brighten her day. Do you know if she is a candidate for a lens replacement? The way you describe her condition it sounds like a cataract.

WOW! Dearest Mark! I must say, that this looks quite clear to me with all these wonderful colors. It is like the vibrant colors almost overlap the curtains. They dont get a chance agains this beautiful piece. I mean it. That is the odd thing. Text mostly black against a white background makes my eye go crazy. But this is simply gorgeous and the ducks in the lovely lake, I know so well from other photos are simply the best. Thank you ever so much for this and for all your loving wishes, dear Mark. Mark, In your image for our dearest Helle, i see a 'window for Spring':))...and Spring brings Renewal and healing ! It's very joyful and in the trunk looks i see a person enjoying the light and embracing the duck:). To me, it has the magic that Helle show to us everyday, in whatever is that she does or did before. I've never seen Helle give up of anything that it was...and she has been always, an example of deep strengthness in her struggles ! And, as you well also said, a magician in her art! You couldn't do or say better, Mark! and i quote her words of hope and trust, when she wrote to YOu: ''May your wishes come true''! Here it is how she is! YOU did a wonderful dedi, Mark! Mark - firstly I am super stoked by the image you did for Helle. It is really so well done incorporating so many things and colors that she loves. How beautiful! It's a wonderful tribute for our Helle. I want to go over there, bundle her up, march her into my retinologist's office, and say, "Here. Look at this woman's eye. Fix it. We need her!!"

Words almost fail me; this is one of the most beautiful pieces you've ever done. I love the log with the ducks in the center, they give the image such life. I had no idea about Helle's sight problems and am with everyone else hoping she can find help. I don't know Helle, but have seen her work and and words and wish her all the very best.
This really is a nice thought that you have turned into your artistic ability. As you may know, Helle is very dear to me, as a great friend, and I'm always thinking about Helle, hoping that the curtain will go away fore her eyes. Brilliant how you did, plus created this colorful picture, it is so deserved to do this for our wonderful friend.
