the digifiddled version of this (from the next shot) is delicious; your painterly 'paint-globs' treatment makes it luminous, and you bring out the lights and highlights beautifully. This shot feels like an enchanted kingdom...it reminds me a little of one of Claude's recent shots of a tree-lined walkway in a park...only yours has houses and is much more densely packed. The place feels like a protective magic forest, living up to the reputation that Southern England has. Your angle/perspective takes us into the depths of the 'forest'---beautiful shot. You can show pics of this area as much as you want; it's beautiful.
And I am jealous! We don't have streets like this out west. Palm trees just aren't the same.
