That's freakin' awesome. Right up top, dead center, beneath the slope, those rocks look placed together. Maybe they used to perform ancient ceremonies up there. Eat peyote and screw like savages. Sounds like fun to me.
Amazing formations, my friend!
Ditto: I see many faces and lots of holy pits that look like moth holes.
Smiles.
Thanks for sharing Richard.
We can see some strange creatures in this rock formation! Superb capture, Richard!

Very nice photo that seems to show us big rock blocks where would have been carved faces ...!!!

Mother Nature doing its thing over the eons.Great capture,Richard.
Looks like a giant started to build something there, impressive capture with a lot of textures 😀
This is really amazing. If this was Africa I would have called this leopard country. They favor formations like this and use the little caves as dens.
Fantastic scene...
Wonderful capture of this fascinating landscape Richard!
I'm no geologist or anything, but it looks like the formations in the lower 2/3 of the image have been worn in those rounded shapes by water - probably flash floods over the centuries. That would explain the various holes in the rocks.
I want to hear more about that peyote orgy
