Description

This image I created by putting together one of my fractals and one of my photos. The photo is from a Sweet William out of our summer garden. Thank you very much for your lovely comments on my "Anna" triptych, I was very glad with them.

You've created a large shawl or tapestry...it looks like some of the large shawls and table coverings that my grandmother brought to America from Russia....with the black background, and the strong use of reds and deep purples. Your blend---of photo and fractal flowers---makes the center of this image a kind of 'mystical union' of nature and fractals. It also feels like 'memories' flowing into each other. Beautiful work: It feels like a very old tapestry from Eastern Europe, with flowers and all kinds of floral designs around them. More beautiful work from you, Jacomina.
