luminous work on both pot and sticks, and background (which is a melded/blurred mass of very bright hues). The detail on the pot and the sticks is very sharp; as is the light on the pot. A study of the life inside a common object, and with a great deal of warming, bright light.
(You know, I rarely do creative postwork on photos, where they're still photos in the end; I think it's from years of using photos as the fodder for wholly 2D work. Ie, I'm afraid I'll ruin the photo if I start messing with it, and turn it into 2D. The work you do still retains the photo essence. And you do it with great integrity.) (I'd be better at photography overall if I did it more. I just can't fit it into my life anymore. I miss it, but seeing explorations from an artist like you quenches the thirst.)
