Description
The city guard comes looking for Kith and Lyni as suspects in Merrada's death. Shimmer convinces him that just because it looked like a dragon that killed the man, it could have been a mage or even an immortal. The guard decides they were well rid of the man and chooses not to pursue it.

Even the guard just wants to come up with an explanation for Merrada's death and get the investigation over with. LOL. Okay. He's dead. Thank God. And just like Ann said, whoever did it did us all a favor.
You so perfectly described the difficulties in dealing with an investigation like this too. So many possibilities and forces at work. Dragons. Spells. Immortals. That's so fascinating. Now it feels like the mystery of the killer is the thing that will drive people to try to find him. A classic whodunnit.
PS .... Happi's green foggy stuff is one of Jepe's props, Phantom. Smoke or steam. I can't remember which. I X-scale the heck out of it in a larger setting to make it as see-through as it needs to be. Or as concentrated as I want it to be.
