Description
Captured on film, way way back in 1983. There is some light leakage, blurring and noise, especially in fotos Nos. 2 and 3, otherwise it came out relatively well after the scanning and a little postwork.
RMS Queen Mary is a ship permanently based in Long Beach, California and docked in the harbor. It was an ocean liner that sailed in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967. With the outbreak of World War II, she was changed into a troopship. The Queen Mary moved Allied soldiers for the rest of the war. Following the war, she was refitted for passenger service. The ship now is a tourist attraction featuring restaurants, a museum, and hotel. The ship is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Nice photos. I see the problem with light leakage and ageing in the black colors. Difficult to fix such. I never had the opportunity to visit her when in the LA area. Any interesting photos from inside? Keep up the good work! :-)
