Guarding the entrance to a home, captured way back on 7/1/05, somewhere in the neighborhood.

They sure look majestic, but I am happy didnt have to paint that fence :-) Lovely shot.
When you first posted this, I thought it was the entry to a museum or similar. Then, when I read your description, I realized, this is to a house. (From the snippet of the house in the background, it's not a very royal a house, considering the pomp and circumstance of that entry!) I love the contrast in the shot between the whites and reds, and the stark red flowers in the background. And the perspective lines too. And the crop, which brings the front lion right into our face. Fine contrasts. And yes, with Helle, I wouldn't want to paint that fence---or those lions either. Those people must think they're royalty...
