Jacaranda tree,very beautiful capture. Sure is a lot of tree in relation to the trunk size. But it seems to be holding up well. Are you feeling any better???

An absolutely gorgeous shot of this stunning tree. Love it, also the framing.
I'm with your son, Marilyn and Helle: A beautiful piece. Very strong detail. And there's something about it that looks like an old postcard, chosen and colored to be a keepsake. The colors are real, but you've handled them in a way to make them soft and quietly vivid. And the lean of the tree, with the slight slope of the road, makes it feel like the picture is 'leaning', as if ready to lounge, as in a hammock. You've caught this type of tree before, and one can see that you take it very seriously: I'd find this type of tree hard to work with, because it tends to dominate every shot it's in. But here, though it does, the surrounding makes a gentle cushiony backdrop. You've handled the balance between tree and surrounding very sensitively. Beautiful sensitive piece.
Harry, as you know, I'm only doing 3 or 4 shots per gallery right now; so I have to move on. Dental work soon. But I'll be back for more after the 1st. (And you have a birthday in a day, which I won't forget.) I hope you're holding on with your health problems, and I do hope that 2017 brings relief.
