Description
One of several old film shots I scanned from a trip I took to New Mexico perhaps some 30 plus years ago. This was at the world famous Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, which is held each October. I was on my way to visit my brother in Santa Fe at the time and it just so happened to coincide with the festival.
Original obviously on top, just for the record.
Due to health problems, I'm still not up to doing much on Renderosity.

Terrific variations!!!
The top shot has really vivid hues, against that grayish sky. It's quite striking. Then the next two show the balloon being "sonic-ed" to death---as if someone put sonic vibrations into it, and it simply vibrated 'apart', where the 4th image (not present here) would be the balloon exploding to bits. Love both variations; and the last one is kind of like a balloon after a terrible hangover: It's not sure why it's head is ringing, but it's ringing like mad. Fine work on these, and very contained within the subject: Ie, my manipulations nearly destroy the subject; i've rarely had the discipline to concentrate this way.
