Shimmer spent the night with Lyni to keep from being found. They had a long heart to heart and Thailyn considered telling her he was her father, but she was too ashamed of her past to want to meet her father.

Yeeesh. Wonderful entanglement of complications. So I am now officially requesting a map of your planet so I can help find a place where they can be free and untangled from the past. LOL. Oh God. And that was such a fun moment when Ann speculated out loud that Merrada could be her father.

And yup. Sure feels like we're reaching the breaking point here. Something gotta' give. I see the greatest hope here in that Thailyn never gave consent for the adoption. If it reaches that point. But I can also imagine it would take an event almost as consequential as an overthrow of the royals for them to give up their adoption rights to Ann. I'm all for that!

Sorry, don 't have a map of Torthoc. My map of Menthanla needs work even. There's Ertonia, but that's the immortal homeland. They'd be a little too interested in her. Ventiar wouldn't work. The unicorns there are afraid of dragons. If a dragon will eat a horse, what's to stop them from eating a unicorn? Yarba has humans, but they don't like dragons either. The last one to go there was taken prisoner and made a slave for 600 years. Besides, she tried to go there and was captured by trolls on the way. She couldn't go to Kith's parent's clan. They don't allow humans or half-breeds. She might be ok on Tricon, where Thailyn is from, but the council there would not be happy with Thailyn hiding from her and would persecute him. Too bad they don't know about the gate to Earth. She should be safe there, if whoever is using the gate doesn't find her.
When Emetom does find out who Ann's father is, his reaction isn't what you'd expect at this point.
Sorry, I'm not far enough head on my finished scenes to post more frequently. I'd hate to have to delay right at an exciting point and leave you hanging for weeks because I had trouble with a scene. I've got about 8 or 9 scenes to set up and render. When I've got those done, I'll think about posting more frequently.
