lol, thank you Andrea! I love this image---another of your isobar/topographical/multiple-line treatments of just about anything that inspires you. Love the metallic effect too, like currents shooting through a copper plate and leaving their magnetic fields incised in the metal. I looked at the flickr version, and you gave the original photo---love it! I would never have guessed what you got this from. It's much flatter now, yet filled with geode-like decay and mineral deposits and god-knows-what...bright coral growths on a dark metallic plate. Again, I hope people zoom, because your work comes alive in a big way full size. Thank you! As for my flu 'leaving' me---I'm afraid it didn't get the memo: My flu decided, instead, to invite its relatives, friends, and 2/3 of the microorganisms in N. America, gracing me with 39.4C and settling in my sinuses (the little s__ts), to where they nearly burst out of my face. Man, I never knew those little sinuses could HURT so much! Eeee-yikes! And of course, coughs come at the end of a flu---which is where I am now---guaranteeing that you won't sleep for a month. (This is off topic, but whoever designed the cough should be sued. It's like 200 firefighters breaking down a wall to put out a cigarette lighter. Most coughing fits produce nada, but boy they wrack-up your body bigtime. BAD design...) Anyway, thank you so much, Andrea, another of your signature explorations of shape and line in whatever strikes your eye. Wonderful! (My microorganisms thank you too---Dmitri in particular.) (That's right, I name my germs. I'm not well.) Love it!
