True there was a fine line between a pirate and privateer and Mariana had to navigate it carefully, but so long as she followed the rules of the grant and only raided enemy ships it was considered a legal enterprise. Of course there was that part about splitting the bounty with the government, she hated that part. "Greedy government officials," she muttered, "stealing from a legitimate business woman!" ------------- The cannon fire and smoke are volumetric materials - the first good results I've had with them.
