Description
We decided to take a little day trip today, so we packed up cameras and drones and headed east about 115 miles to Rocheport, Missouri. I'll post a few photos - from both the ground and the air.
I took this with the Inspire at about 116 feet, looking south towards the I-70 bridge which you can see in the distance. Just to the left of the Inspire is a limestone bluff that rises nearly 100 feet above the KATY trail, which is the white roadway in the center of the photo. the KATY Trail is a hiking-biking trail that runs 240 miles in the right-of-way of the former Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad. It is the longest "rails to trails" state park in the USA.
I'll be posting a 360 degree panorama from this flight soon.
I'm still working on a major project for Chapter 6 - I don't want to give anything away, (no spoilers hehe) but it's taking longer than I expected. I do expect to have it done soon.

That's what'cha call a bat's eye view...or it would be if it was at night, and your drone had echolocation...but I digress. Nice river shot, that looks a lot like the North Saskachewan River, except we don't limestone cliffs, just dirt and coal.

Ah, more drone photos. Must be such fun to see the environment from above, like this. I just worry about the drone falling into the river or stuck in a tree. The water has several shades, suggesting varying depths or maybe varying rates of flow. Interesting. Keep up the good work! As for TNA, he who waits for something good..... :-)

This gives a new meaning for photography, being able to go beyond human vision ... we become the hawk if only for a while :)
Indeed, this technology gives us a whole new vantage point. Elevation is no longer a problem - as long as there's not an airport within 5 miles! :-D
Lets hope the recent quakes don't set it back on its old flow. ;)
