Just a bit of fooling around in DS..... This is Lucy, Jenny's (Pixeluna) latest gal - and as always she's gorgeous! Awesome lady, Lil' Sis! You can get her over at DAZ.
After finding a couple tutorials I finally figured out how to add my own textures to stuff in DAZ Studio. It doesn't have a material room like Poser, but you can go to the surface tab, and click on the editor to navigate to where the textures are stored - and change them.
I used a pattern generated with the Adobe Capture app to make the pattern for Lucy's swimsuit - which is the Sharona Romper by Rhiannon.
I'm still working on a ton of stuff for Chapter 6, and making progress. I had hoped to have things ready by October 1, but things have been so crazy, it's looking more like the first of November. Possibly sooner, if things go well over the next couple of weeks. I have two weeks of vacation coming up after this week, so hopefully I'll be able to get a bunch of stuff done.
I may be off line for a couple days this week. I have had a ton of problems with this computer since the lightning strike a few weeks ago - and it's been having plenty of issues even before that. I've come to the conclusion it's time to replace it. I hope to pick up the new machine Monday. It will have Win 10 pre-installed, but also comes with a Win 7 Pro disc, so I'm covered no matter which OS I decide to use.
Anyway, before I write a book......

Nice work on the re-texturing, the Daz surface tab is different than posers material room, but easy to use once you get the hang of things. You may miss posers more advanced abilities though. And believe me, that goofy little Iray ball is really handy for doing render tests, it's a good thing to play with when you want to figure out different Iray surface settings.
Win10....yeeeeuuuuugh! I'ma sticking with Win 7 home x64. Next time, I may go with Mac. Good luck with your new machine, and enjoy your time off.

You are Coming along Greatly there are so many different ways ways to accomplish The same thing with DAZ actually I find it so Much Fun! to play with the surface Tab Paying with the Defuse Textures and the Displacement settings I did one right Now for Fun! I think I will post it next

very beautiful render and texture you made. my main computer is having a long render time with indirect lighting. the computer shows no problems with the mother board, but something must be going on

"Ugh! Tattoos! Poison in my meal! Me refuse to eat!" - T.Rex. Well! At least she's safe as far as he is concerned! Nice to see you advancing with DAZ4. Hope the lightninged computer problem is solved! My old WinXP machine is hopefully going to the computer doctor tomorrow. I have also looked at new computers. Big question is - can I run my 32 bit software on a 64 bit machine? No use buying a new computer if it won't run my software (= expensive ! paper weight!). Keep up the good work! :-)
