Description
The top of Mt. Shasta was covered by clouds as we headed home from our hike at Castle Lake. We stopped at a few places to try to get a good shot of it, but none of the locations satisfied me. I was resigned to that, but then found the right spot as were zipping along the highway at 65 mph (my wife driving). I opened my window & took a couple of quick shots, of which this one was the best. I cropped out the highway pavement & straightened it & I believe this is by far the best photo I've ever taken out of a moving car...

Stupendous capture - if you hadn't said anything, I would have never guessed that this was a moving photo
Wowser! I've taken somewhere upwards of a million pictures (more or less) from a moving vehicle, and I can say with great authority and experience, that this ROCKS!!! My ratio of excellent to crappy pictures taken via that method is now somewhere around "My camera is in the trunk because they never turn out." This is amazing!
Love it!!
