Description
The motto of the second school at which I taught was 'Without Haste ,Without Rest', below an image of a Cedar of Lebanon.
I was very impressed with that way of living, like a tree.
This Silver Birch, in Coy Pond Gardens, is a great example. It is very elderly for this species, which are often short lived by tree standards.
