Meet Kurt, captured way back on 12/29/05, a splendid pooch I encountered in some far away park in the city. He was with his master, which may explain his courteous demeanor. Interesting about his collar of fur.
A ZOOM would be beneficial.

What? No WOOF, no bite? My, how wonderful! You may just make it with doggies after all! Nice photo. With thick, straight fur, a collar will cause the fur to stick out like this. My former secretary has 4 huskies. Their fur is quite stiff and stands out like this despite much narrower collars than your friend here! Keep up the good work! :-)
PS - if they lick your hands or face, they love you!
