Description
Viewed from cooler and shaded nearby pines, a sun drenched landscape prepares for cooler weather, an end, and new beginning.

Currently about 30 feet tall, this planted tree was about a 4 foot height. It's a hybrid Stuart hard shell, with a fungal type disease for several years, which could probably be cured at the expense of half our bee population, but I will defer action on that. For the time being, I would like to think about fun things and enjoying pleasures of life... ill defined as they are at times :)

Thank you for your generous comments... life seems to be a bit strained with Summer ending, with perhaps fresh beginnings needed to occupy creative spirits. I would dearly enjoy a visit to a completely grown over and poison ivy filled pond area that I have previously photographed, and may spray myself from head to toe with insect repellent, venture into the wilderness and click a few pics of Nature taking control of its environment...

A wonderful shot, Kenn. I really do enjoy the change of seasons, and fall is my favorite. It didn't use to be when I was a kid (it meant going back to school, which I hated). But as I get older, I find it a calming and reflective time. And cooler so I can get out and fly more! :-D
