Description
Meet Pups, a most discourteous paranoid canine, captured way back on 1/26/07, about 3/4ths of a mile from home. We had this never ending deja vu relationship, lasting years, whenever I passed by his home. He would posture, silently maneuver about, then snarl at me and play his guard dog role up to the hilt. Pups' owner swore that he was a good dog and couldn't understand his attitude towards me. I used to toss doggie goodies over the fence for him to munch on, but he would ignore that good will gesture and keep growling at me. Actually a good looking pooch, but I think he was either an automaton or an idiot.

Aww, he looks like such a beautiful boy! I wonder what his beef was with you? I'll bet his coat was thick and very soft. Lovely portrait of your nemesis, Harry!
Great capture and adorable pet !
Good looking fellow, unless you don't know him and he's barking at you, then it's a bit scary.
Good photo. I'm surprised he stopped long enough for you to take the photo. If all dogs bark at you, then my brother's the exact opposite. When out with him in the baby pram we'd have a gang of dogs following us, the larger ones would lean over the side of the pram and lick my brother's face. He giggled and petted the dog's head "Nice doggy", but mother was very worried the dogs would bite. So, some people get positive attention, and others get barked at. Sigh... Keep up the good work! :-)
Beautiful dog and great shot !!!
Yes, he doesnt look so friendly and not even scared. So he might be one that you should avoid :)
Delightfully Wonderful Work,
